My career has taken me from huge global organisations to small and scrappy, fast-growing startups. With over 20 years experience in HR/People roles, I've seen every type of people problem you can imagine! Most importantly, though, I've learned what actually prevents them in the first place.

The thing is, most traditional HR practice is aimed at dealing with stuff once everything's on fire, then swoops in with compliance-heavy solutions that don't address what's really broken.

That's not how I work.

I got so fed up watching brilliant businesses struggle with high employee turnover and stunted growth because they'd defaulted to treating their employees as an overhead, rather than as an investment.

Meet Maritsa Inglessis aka “The People Keeper”

It is widely researched that when you get the people side right, you actually help your business grow faster. Intentionally thinking about and bringing your employees on that journey with you makes growth easier, not harder.

My mission is to help more business owners like you to start building teams that actually help you successfully grow your business because that’s when it becomes sustainable and enjoyable!

And who am I when I’m not “People Keeping”?

I’m currently living in Kefalonia (Greece), with my husband, and retired athlete Daisy (the ex-racing greyhound).

I believe that there's more to life than work, so when I'm not working, I'm probably doing something music-related.

I DJ on and co-manage an internet radio station, spinning mainly Jungle, Breakbeat and Hardcore. My musical taste is super-varied though and even includes Classical, Latin, and Jazz.

I'm also a bit of a petrolhead. I used to own a modified car, which I’ve now swapped for a motorbike that I’m slowly learning to ride.

I'm obsessed with road racing, have been to the Isle of Man TT and the NW200 is also on my list.
